Aradne is an artist that has exhibited widely and is represented in many prominent collections. She is also an intrepid explorer and both characteristics are family traits. Her mother was a painter and her great-grandfather devoted his life to investigating little-known regions of the globe, but Aradne is the first to combine the two, although not in a conventional sense. Aradne’s union of art and exploration culminates in the creation of works that not only show artistic finesse, but also bravely document her journey into the un-chartered depths of her mind and beyond.

Alice Pery (1833–1906) was one of seven children of the Honourable Edmund Sexton Pery (1797–1860) and the Honourable Elizabeth Charlotte Cokayne (1798–1883), and on both sides of the family a direct descendent of King Edward III. Alice was also a Spiritualist and highly talented mediumistic artist
